The Braces are Off!

Hello Dear Family,
November 24, 2014, Who's got the goofiest, most amazing smile on the planet? My son Casey does!
He stopped by to see me this afternoon, just after his final orthodontist appointment. Braces are off!!!
This journey started September 20, 2012. Since then he has had his palate expanded, braces, and upper jaw separated and pushed forward, lower jaw broken and moved back, and mouth wired closed for recovery. Wow, what a journey! He has lost some weight, and still has numbness on his lips, be he is doing so well. Thank you GOD, and thank you to the surgeon, orthodontist, and their amazing staff, for all that they have done for him. <3
He is still figuring out how to do it...but Casey smiles now. :')
