My 365...
Happy Friday!
The alarm went off at 5:30 A.M. this morning, and it was one of the moments where you say to yourself...do I really want to get up this early? I can sleep in if I want to....but the balloons are launching at the park. And I promised Blake...
So I got up, woke Blake, Casey and Jack. Casey was on the fence whether he wanted to sleep in or go with us. He did what any normal teenager would do...sleep in. :) Blake, Jack and I got on our bikes and headed to the park at 6:20 A.M. It was still dark outside, and a bit chilly too, but we had a fun ride. I am so glad we decided to go because the balloons were beautiful. It was a perfect clear morning, other than a little smoke in the valley, and there were 40 balloons launching for the 2012 Spirit of Boise Balloon Classic. Without question, my favorite event of the year.
It was awesome!!
When we got home I made some delicious breakfast tacos, then Blake and I took a nap. :)
It was the perfect start to our three-day Labor Day weekend.
Total ride...7.34 miles.
